Applications
Electroplating
For the treatment of galvanic sludge filter presses find a variety of applications. Mounted adjacent to the plant or on a gallery, for an easier filter cake evacuation, into an easily removable container, the filter press installation varies depending on the system version.
Power plants
For descaling of feed water in power plants, this is treated with milk of lime. The precipitated solids are filtered with large chamber filter presses.
Dry cleaning
In the dry cleaning usualy. large amounts of liquids with low solid content. are filtered by means of filter presses with appropriate filter cloths, flocculation chemicals and special liquid pumps adapted to the solid particles.
Groundwater Remediation
Contaminated Groundwater, e.g.. in the vicinity of landfills or metalworking companies, is cleaned., Therefore. groundwater is pumped, into a flocculation tank where particles are precipitated, , then filtered using a filter press and re-injected into the ground. This can go on for years.
Pigment filtration
To make sprayable coatings, bearing larger pigments, these are filtered out from the paint. For this purpose, chamber filter presses are used.
