Surface Technology (coating, paintshops, KTL…) for the protection of metal parts against corrosion and sometimes mechanical damages needs Filter Presses for bath recycling and waste water disposal. For almost 50 years Simex has supplied filter presses to the automotive sector, for example for paintshops, mainly as a component in co-operation with engineering companies, which design plants worldwide for the large car manufacturers (OEM’s) and their 1st tier suppliers. This includes bath recycling for zinc phosphatation as well as the disposal of color sludges, where filter presses separate solids from liquid.
