Simex is a manufacturer of filter presses, one oft the major technologies in the field of solid-liquid-separation. Simex was founded in 1968. Starting from wine filtration in the early 70ies, we gradually moved into industrial fields, such as filtration of sludges from paintshops in the automotive industry or other surface technologies, namely ZN-Ni or powder coating and KTL.
Later, we added other sectors to our portfolio where our filter presses filter a variety of sludges, be they organic or anorganic. In our history we delivered app. 6000 filter presses to customers worldwide, coming from app. 50 branches of industry.
More recently we developed expertise especially for sludges from scrubber systems on board of container vessels and cruise ships, from battery recycling, and the building industry.
Our customers frequently are engineering companies who integrate our product for sludge treatment into their plant design, but also end users in search of a filtration solution for new types of sludge. After more than 50 years of history we have accumulated special filtration know-how for a large variety of suspensions..
Simex is located in Calw, close to Stuttgart, Germany.
